Devon Conveyancing and Legal is family-owned and operated with more than 100 years of combined experience in property settlements. Built on the strong family values and high standards instilled by the late Ann Whiteman, our team shares a genuine passion for conveyancing inspired by her lasting legacy.
As a highly respected figure in the conveyancing industry, Ann purchased Devon Conveyancing and Legal in 1990 and developed it into the thriving business it is today. She sadly passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in 2002, leaving behind a heartfelt wish that the business remain in the family. That wish has been proudly honoured by her husband, Ross Whiteman, alongside fellow Director and in-house counsel, Peter Murray, and Business Manager, Julie Touchell.
Collectively Ross, Peter and Julie each bring over four decades of experience across the real estate, conveyancing and legal sectors. Supporting them is a dedicated team of conveyancers and administrative support staff, all committed to providing efficient, reliable and personalised service. Many of Ann’s original clients continue to work with Devon today, a testament to the trust, care and client-focused relationships she built, which remains at the heart of everything we do.
